HP ZBook 8 G1i 14" Mobile Workstation - Intel Core Ultra 7 265H - vPro Technology - 32GB - 1TB SSD - Windows 11 Pro - Intel Arc 140T GPU with 4 GB - Webcam - IEEE 802.11be Wireless BX7T3UT#ABA

The HP ZBook 8 G1i is a 14-inch mobile workstation with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265H, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Windows 11 Pro, and Intel Arc 140T graphics. It suits professionals who want a compact Windows workstation for business and demanding everyday productivity.

Recommended For

• Mobile CAD and engineering professionals who need a 14-inch Windows workstation for 2D design and lighter 3D work; choose a configuration with the RTX 500 Ada GPU when their software benefits from certified professional graphics.
• Professionals who move between office, client, and home setups and want workstation-class CPU performance in a smaller laptop; Notebookcheck found the integrated-graphics version lasted about 12 hours in its Wi-Fi browsing test, though battery life varies by configuration and workload.
• Business users who need Windows 11 Pro and vPro-oriented fleet features for managed work, alongside a portable workstation for demanding office and technical applications.
• Users who regularly run many professional applications at once and value upgrade options; Notebookcheck notes that the ZBook 8 G1i 14 retains two SO-DIMM memory slots and a modular M.2 SSD.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• When a developer is running an IDE, compiling code, and keeping documentation and browser tabs open, the ZBook 8 G1i’s processor and 32GB of memory can support that busy workflow; graphics-heavy work is less suited to the integrated-graphics configuration.
• For CAD or engineering tasks, a configuration with the optional NVIDIA RTX 500 Ada is aimed at professional applications such as AutoCAD; check the exact GPU in the listing, since integrated-graphics versions are less appropriate for GPU-demanding CAD work.
• For everyday business work—switching among spreadsheets, presentations, video calls, and many browser tabs—the 32GB configuration provides room for multitasking, while the 14-inch display keeps the setup portable.
• For coding, email, and web work away from an outlet, the integrated-graphics 14-inch model can handle a day of lighter use in suitable conditions; Notebookcheck measured about 12 hours in its Wi-Fi browsing test, though actual battery life varies with settings and workload.
• For larger or GPU-intensive local AI projects, this is a limited fit: the reviewed RTX 500 Ada configuration has 4GB of dedicated graphics memory, which restricts the size of models and workloads it can handle locally.
