I remember getting both a D-sub to DVI cord and a dvi to dvi cord. Funny thing is I can't remember pulling an AC cord out of the box. But you would think they would include THAT. They probably did and I just don't remember pulling it out.

If I want to buy two monitors and connect them to a laptop, what additional peripherals do I need to get them to work correctly?

your laptop has to have two video outputs first off. Most only have one auxiliary output.
