Is this Grade A refurbished? Or is it Grade B?

I bought one of these for my employer a couple weeks ago for slightly less money, and I am very close to picking up another for myself even at the higher price. I don't know the difference between the grades, but the one that we received works perfectly, had no dings or scuffs on it, included power cord and VGA cord, NO documentation except a sheet of paper about who to contact for warranty support, and was in a refurb box. The only place that I saw scratches was on the parts of the mounting bracket that actually slide inside another part (i.e. totally invisible after assembly). I applaud the designer of the pedestal - the most solid I have seen for any widescreen monitor.

Is this Monitor VESA mount capable?

*EDIT* - To be clear these out of the box have NO way to be mounted via a VESA setup.

is the monitor position adjustable or fixed?

It can tilt forward and backward.  That's it.

Is this monitor glossy or matt?  Am probably going to buy it anyway, because I usually keep my drapes closed when I am in my office :)

Is like glossy monitor, but the colors and how the videos o games look on that monitor is great I love it I bought 2 of these and so far no issues amazing monitor for that price, I would recommend that to anyone.

No, there's a special adapter (sold separately) that replaces the stand to convert this to VESA.  I think it runs about $60.

What is the height measurement of just the monitor (Top of the frame to the bottom of the frame)? Thank you.

Okay so the screen size is 13.23 exact. The black frame is like 0.275 of an inch and the lip of the case is very small maybe 0.050, so if I were to make and educated guess, 13.23+0.275+0.275+0.050+0.050 = Complete Height, 13.88 i would round it to 13.90 just in case..

Does this have a headphone jack? I can't find that detail anywhere.

There are no speakers in this monitor, hence no audio jack. But monitor is pretty awesome. So far no problems at all. Had co workers also purchase one. Love it.
