Does this monitor have a displayport?

No Display Port input. I had to use DP to HDMI Cables to connect to my docking station.

Is this Macbook compatible? What cords come with it?

It should be compatible up to 1920×1080 resolution, however you will have to buy a cable for the macbook. The monitor only came with a VGA cable. Inputs on the monitor are VGA, DVI, and HDMI. You will probably want to use the HDMI port.

Will it scan automatically the inputs or it can be fixed to desired input?

Yes it will automatically scan for an input. However be aware the seller is very difficult and complicated to work with. Mine has dead pixels after 2 days of use, the seller will not return or refund. I'm having to wait after the thirty day return policy from newegg until I can contacts hp for a replacement.

It has both features, Auto or manual (fixed input)
