What al software is already load on the system? besides windows?

Junkware, actually. Free anti-whatever stuff that I wouldn't let my grandmother run. I spent a good hour un-installing the stuff it came with so that I could get stuff done. It's really a GREAT machine... I do not recommend buying a machine based on what software is included. I recommend this HP very very highly.

What does: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit/available through downgrade rights from Windows 8 Pro mean?

The computer comes with Windows 8 installed, but you can downgrade to Windows 7 using the same activation key. The problem, is in order to downgrade to Windows 7, you need a Windows 7 Pro installation disk. Unless you happen to have an installation disk, the only way to get one is to buy Windows7 Pro, thus making the downgrade rights worthless. Also evidently you have to use the same type installation disk. In other words to downgrade this computer you have to have a Win 7 Pro 64 bit disk. A 32bit one will not work.

Sorry for the slow response, was trapped in an airport all day yesterday. I have not yet hooked up the computer, it was ordered as a replacement for an older system I was not familiar with, and I was given some bad feedback as to whether the the HDDs were IDE or SATA and if it used PCI express or regular PCI. I had not purchased this for the purpose or running a dual-monitor set, I will test it as soon as I get the rest of the pieces, but there have been shipping delays with the snow. I will try to leave a yes-no response as soon as I can, not sure if it will let me answer this twice, and I can't leave my email in the response either.

No , there was no disk in the box , Win7 pro was pre installed. Didn't have a disk for Win 8 either.

Yes.  The option to downgrade to Windows 7 is built into Windows 8 & has already been done.  Comes with Windows 7 64-bit installed.

No. It's a fine computer but I'd re-think buying it from a reseller. Newegg will not take a return that is IN warranty, and HP won't either if you bought it from a reseller.

want to add performance video card with power connecter. how big is Power Supply and does it have a 6 pin power connecter for video card?

I believe its 300 watt, I don't recall seeing the 6 pin, but it may. You might be able to get or make an adapter for the 6 pin to connect to a regular molex drive connector.

Also I can verify it is a standard ATX power supply with the standard connections, so it could easily be upgraded to another power supply.
