Is this PC compatible with an 19" TFT LCD Flat Panel Monitor?

That depends upon the monitor - the DC5800 has only a VGA monitor output unless you add a modern sff video card to it. There might also be problems with the particular video modes that you would want to use - this is a very limited video system, intended for relatively low resolutions (since it shares main memory for its video storage, and the unit has only 2GB RAM, using much of it for video would cripple the program performance). If you are happy with normal 4:3 resolutions, and avoid any 16:9 wide screens, you have a good chance of plugging into the VGA port and working.

Question 2

What is the config of the ram that come with the unit?  Is it 1x2gb, 2x1gb, 4x512mb?

When I took apart this machine, it had 2x1gb of ram totaling to 2gb. This is easily expandable though. At the end of the day,  this machine can serve basic needs or office environment.

Question 3

does it include a recovery CD of Windows 7?

There is no physical CD/DVD that comes with it. The tower comes with a code that you enter when you first turn on the machine. I suppose if you ever need to recover the OS you could contact Microsoft. I bought this machine machine for very very basic use because I have an outdated MacBook, a Pentium 4 desktop that is slower than snail snot & a Chrome book. Those machines don't let me do certain work functions because they are not compatible with my job. In the middle of  building a machine but my taste/wants don't agree with my wallet right now. So I settled for this for the time being. Hope this helps & sorry for getting off topic.

Question 4

What kind of video card? Can it run basic games?

It depends on what you call basic.  It would not run Minecraft or Goat Simulator even after we added a 1gb video card and upgraded to 4gb of RAM.  Anything with heavy graphics is probably a no-go.  I now have the PC connected to a tv for watching Netflix.  It seems to handle the HD video well.  I buy probably 2 PC's a year (usually lease returns or refurbs).  The next ones I purchase will have more CPU power than this one.

Assuming it was sold with Windows Vista Business & DDR2 RAM (Intel Q35/33 chipset), probably around 2007, mid 2008 at best. Later chipsets (O45/43) that runs DDR3 RAM with the same CPU's were introduced before the release of Windows 7 in late 2008/early 2009, so that gives a ball park figure. Mine's still running great to this day, upgraded the CPU to a very fast Intel Core2Quad Q9400, the stock copper heatsink didn't need to be upgraded, actually runs cooler & more responsive than the Core2Duo E8400. Have also installed a SSD, the first that I purchased here in 2012, a 128Gb Crucial m4, along with a 500GB WD RE4 HDD for Data/Linux Mint /home. Runs as fast as most of my SATA-3 based computers, best of all, the IHS is soldered to the die of the CPU.;-)

Question 6

What is the maximum amount of RAM that this PC supports? Also does it support Intel Virtualization Technology, Intel 64 bit, and Execute Disable Bit so it could work with Virtualization software?

According to HP this computer supports a maximum of 8GB of memory.  It uses DDR2 PC-6400 RAM.

The processor is an Intel E8400.  According to Intel it supports VT-x, VT-d, Intel 64-bit, and the Execute Disable Bit.  No Hyperthreading or Turbo Boost, though.

What type and configuration of ram? ddr2-667, ddr2-800, etc?   2X1gb or 4X512mb?

DDR2-800 or DDR2-1066 on MB's that'll accept it, although these RAM modules, as well as DDR are getting extremely expensive when purchased new. This is also beginning to apply to performance DDR3 RAM kits, as there's folks that'll still be running it for many years to come.
