This comes up on a search for this number "with bluetooth" but doesn't say if this version has bt and is compatible with HP 15-r264dx?

I am unsure of the compatibility, but it should be universally compatible for PCs. It DOES ya e Bluetooth and works very well for both by and WiFi!

there is only one wire that connects to this card I was trying to figure out which one it came off of on-chip. I believe its the one to the left of the chip, but not 100% sure?

There should be two wires to connect to this card.  It is a closed system and must have both connected to work properly.
