Is windows professional 64 aready loaded in the computer or is it just a trial offer then you must buy it ? Also can you set-up E-mail or do you have to buy a seperate program to be able to set-up an E-mail acount.

The full Windows program is installed, so no additional purchase is required. If you want an email program like Outlook, then your download Windows Essentials for free from Microsoft, it has Windows live mail that is the Outlook replacement and functions just like Outlook.

i was wondering  how old are these units?

The one I ordered in Nov 2014, shows a warranty expiration of Jul 2014. with a typical 3 year warranty period it was produced some time in 2011.

Can the Ram be upgraded... or is 4MB the MAX?

I do not have one yet but according to the HP 8000 elite spec:

Max memory is 16G in 4x4G configuratioin.

Is the memory DDR2 or DDR3?
Does this random motherboard have a PCI slot?
