This does not come with an OS disk, however you can download Windows 7 ISOs from Microsoft and use the product key which comes with this.

Ok friend...I am not computer smart, so this is a simple question... I have a 500GB external hard drive. If I plug it in to this awesome computer, will it work?

Yes, although there are no 6 or 8 pin power connectors from the power supply so you can only use PCI-E video cards which do not need additional power.

Nope SATA only. it can house 2 3.5: SATA drives.
and upgrading from the 80 gig to a 1 TB was a breeze for me.

Does this computer come with DASH or Intel AMT, Basically I'm wondering what kind of, or if it has a TPM and any kind of out of band management support?

I don't think it has any of those things. I'm not sure exactly what those acronyms are about but I saw no documentation for anything like that. Plain vanilla win 7, I didn't see any features for corporate or enterprise management features. I bought it for a friend who was amazed at the power for such a cheap price. As you know, HP refurbished apparently means brand-new but cleaning out overstock at model changeover time.

Unit has two PCIe, one PCI, and one PCI-Ex16. No IDE. Does have a FDD header. Four SATA headers, two open. See images provided by seller.

Are their slots to expand memory and hard drive? Also how many  usb ports are their?

Only two RAM slots, both populated. Can be replaced with 2 x 2GiB for the maximum of 4GiB system capacity. Room for one additional SATA HDD, although another could be installed in the open internal bays (two open SATA headers). Two USB in front with 4 on the rear panel. Has a USB header on the mainboard to which an internal card reader may be installed.

Ok... I bought this and love it! My external does work with it, but I was wondering if there's a hard drive I can get from newegg that's bigger, to put in the tower. Any suggestions on a product number and low price? I'm not computer smart and I am on disability, so I am on a tight budget.
