Is there an expansion port that would accommodate a graphics card?

I believe it has a PCIe low-profile slot - possibly two (one a 1x and one a 16x) - at least on the SFF version.  Best bet is to look up the system specs at HP and see.  I do know that small form factor boxes like this don't have a lot of extra room in the case, so if you are thinking of upgrading to a power graphics card you might want to find a unit with a larger case, higher wattage power supply, and plenty of extra power connections

No HDMI port; VGA only. However, it has both male and female VGA plugs, so you don't need a converter. I have an HDMI monitor plugged into the VGA, and it works fine. My monitor has several interfaces, including HDMI, DVI, VGA. You would need VGA interface on your monitor in order to plug it in.

Can the RAM be increased?

I would not try it. There is very little room inside the case. The memory coupled with Windows 10 Pro on my machine is responsive and fast even with my removable 500 GB USB drive. This is not a PC which will make videos or do enhanced graphics. I am using it for an office situation. It is a cheap solution to building or buying a more expensive PC, since I am only using it as a word processing tool, storing some photographs, and printing spread sheets and simple communications with pictures inserted. They look very professional and print quickly. You can send and receive emails and so forth. It does what it is designed to do. I have another PC which I built for the big stuff. It has a full ATX motherboard and case, 2 SSD's, 6 HDD's, 3 external storage backup drives, a total of 10.5 TB of internal storage, and 6.32 TB of external storage, 32GB or ram, a modest graphics card, and 1200 watt power supply. That is my workhorse.

No it does not come with office software. You would have to pay for any version of Microsoft Office, but you can install OpenOffice is free if you want a free solution.

The product summary says Windows 10 Home, but the description says Windows 10 Pro. Which is it?

Can I update the HDD with SDD?

I don't see any reason that you could not put an SSD drive in this PC. It opens easily and you  could easily unplug the spin drive and remove it and then plug in the SSD into the SATA interface.  But you would lose your Windows 10 O.S unless you make a backup of the O.S to a thumb drive or DVD. There are instruction for doing that and reinstalling it on the new SSD online. Otherwise you might have to buy a new Windows 10 O.S. The HDD that came with mine is a 2009 Western Digital Blue Drive, which is pretty old. It is certainly a refurbished one.

13.25 W x 4 H x 15 D.  You must add 0.5 D at the back for protrusions of card slot retainers and the case lock tabs, plus another 2.5D at the back for  the power cord, DisplayPort or VGA cord, PS/2 plugs, etc.
