How would I re-install OS, if needed ?  Should I download win 7 and put into flash drive to install ?  If so, I hope I will get license keys along with this laptop.

I took delivery on this ultrabook a few weeks ago.  The package included install DVDs for Win 7 pro, Win 8 pro, along with driver recovery discs.  A total of 5 DVD discs.  This ultrabook does not have a built in optical drive, so you will need an external optical drive to re-install the OS.

The keyboard does not have a number pad on the right. If you use it only occasionally, there are separate ones that can be attached via USB.

Is the 180 GB SSD sufficient?  What model year is this?  What does it weigh?

2 of the 3 questions I can answer:

180 GB SSD is sufficient for any normal use, as long as your not putting a ton of movies, games, entertainment on the system it is fine. I use it strictly for School so it is perfectly fine for that usage. You can always upgrade the SSD if you want, but you may be spending some extra cash.

3.8 lbs is it's approximate weight, this is not too heavy and I can easily hold the laptop in one hand without any difficulties.

In all reality the model year is irrelevant when you have decent hardware on the machine. 1.9G Intel processor, 180 gb SSD, and if you want an upgrade, upgrade the ram and you will be fine for quite a while.

How much battery life do you get?

battery life is good, haven't had laptop on for full day yet. Biggest reason to buy this laptop is the SSD drive, really fast start up and pulling up programs

Windows 7 with both a windows 7 disk + driver disk and Windows 8 + driver disk

A win 8 install DVD is included in the package.   I am using win 7, and have not tried to see if the screen has touch controls.  I dont touch controls on the LCD screen in the specifications.
