IS THIS A QUAD CORE PROCESOR ?

I believe the A-10 processor is Quad core.  The best thing about this machine as configured is the 12GB Ram, which for a regular daily user makes for very fast processing.  Unless you're a hard core gamer(assume you would not ask your question if you were) there is a lot of value for the price. GL!

Does the Power,Keyboard and mouse all come with this?

Yes, it comes with all 3. I wouldn't say the keyboard and mouse are awesome, however, but they will do in a pinch. Both are wired.

Does it include a keyboard and mouse?  If so, are they wired or wireless?

It does come with both, but both are wired.  I personally really like HP's keyboards so I don't have any complaints about how it types, but the mouse is especially cheap, I haven't taken it out of it's packaging yet.

can you add an additional internal hard drive to this unit?

Well, I'm not entirely sure, but what I do know is that I have installed both a PSU and an amd graphics card in this unit and when I was installing these things I noticed there are more hard drive slots, so I would think you would be able to install more. But, again, I'm not entirely sure so don't take my word for it.

Can I hook dual monitors to this?

The first thing I did was reload the windows 8 updates one of which allowed me to change over immediately to windows 8.1. Currently I am powering two monitors from this computer.  One with HDMI and one with a DVI connection. To run two HDMI you would have to add a strong graphics card in the 100-200 range. The savings on this much RAM make up that easily if HDMI is required.

can I get this with Win 7?

I was a windows XP and Windows 7 user but when I got this computer it was equipped with windows 8.  I immediately got the free download of windows 8.1 and now I love the ease of use with this new version of windows.

One click on your desktop and your on a screen that works exactly as windows 7 did,  the only difference is in how you troubleshoot.

Windows 8 and 8.1 are made to synch with your cell phone and tablet which are touch screen.  I saved so much on the price of the computer compared to others available that the decision to buy a touch screen was a no brainer.

Now when I have to trouble shoot anything from printer troubles to usb ports I just drag my finger from the right hand side, one touch the search bar type me check printer ink and how to do what I want to do is given to me....usually with a couple suggestions. 8.1 is basically windows 7 drastically improved and on a lightning fast computer.

The only drawback to this computer is the low wattage power so if your a gamer that wants to add additional fans and hard drives its not for you otherwise congratulations on a wise choice.

HOW MANY INTERNAL HARDRIVE BAYS ?

There are a total of three internal harddrive bays. If you want to add additional drives, you will need to purchase additional cables.

I am interested in buying this computer, but am not a big fan of AMD processors because they used to run hotter then intel processors.

Does this computer stay cool and has anyone had issues with this processor?

I have 3 units and I have had no problems with any of the HP 700-056 computers.  They run very well and I am looking at adding several more units.

What is the max ram capablility? Also, is there room for another CD burner and may I also add a SSD hard drive?

There is a slot for an additional  CD burner, it's got a flap and eject button all ready for it.
