Is this network ready & Mac compatibility?

Yes. The wireless net works perfectly. You don't even need the driver disk on pc when you set it up. I just downloaded an HP eprint app and can print from my cell phone. Very easy. I tried set it up on my Mac pro laptop. It does need the driver disk to set it up. But it's also easy and strait forward. It works fine on my Mac. I didn't test fax and scanner yet. Copy works fine. Only concern is when printing on doublesides, you need feed paper manually once.

Does this printer have a wifi capability?.

It has RJ45 (wired), WiFi (2GHz b/g/n), Direct WiFi (aka P2P) and USB. WiFi supports WPS connectivity if your AP or router has WPS. If your AP/router does not support WPS you can connect it through the RJ45 (wired network) and configure the WiFi using the build-in web interface. You didn't ask (lol) but the scan is slow, good enough for quick item scan or for faxing. Fax speed is 14.4 but not too many people fax anyway....

Which is the best all in one, laser fax, scan, copy, printer wifi ADF 1200 dpi that will not break the bank?

I am still searching for that myself. Honestly I am not to happy with this model HP. It's very buggy. The print and copy function works great but the fax acts up every now and again.
