Compatible with MacBook Pro?  Do I need any additional cables?

I just tested the monitor with my Retina Mac Book Pro and it was plug and play. The picture copied over as soon as I plugged in the HDMI cable (That comes with the monitor). The only thing to note is that the resolution did not match right away. But that can be corrected by adjusting it on the mac.

Question 2

Do the posted product dimensions (15.92" x 20.94" x 6.83") include the base, or are those the dimensions of the screen? This is important because the space between my hutch and desk is only 19". thank you.

The measurement you indicate includes the base.  Just verified it on this exact monitor which I am using right now.  So at only ~16" high it should easily fit in the 19" space you have.

The screen itself only measures 13" tall by 20.94" wide by ~1.25" deep.

Great monitor by the way.

Does the screen tilt?
Does the screen adjust vertically?

The screen tilts, but does not adjust vertically (up and down).
