Newegg specifications list a 1x USB 3.0 port, but all the specs from HP (and other sites/reviews) only list USB 2.0. Even the Type-C port is USB 2.0 based. I don't think this has USB 3.0.

So does this have a USB 3.0 port or not? Big deal breaker for me.

All the USB ports are 2.0 spec. Both the regular & Type-C ports top out at 40 MB/s read/write. That's strange since USB 2.0 is suppose to top out at 24 MB/s. This increased speed is probably due to the way it interacts with the eMMC based storage. I have several of these types of Windows tables. Some with true USB 3.0 ports. They are all bottlenecked by the eMMC to between 40-60 MB/s (the actual working speed of the eMMC) even with flash drives that can read/write at 100+ MB/s.  So until these tablets start using more expensive SSD storage solutions, USB 3.0 will just be wasted on them.
