will this fit in an HP Laptop?

It depends entirely on the laptop. If the laptop has a standard 2.5" drive bay with a SATA connector, then yes, it will fit. If the laptop only has an eMMC and no 2.5 drive bays, then it will not fit. You must also be sure that the computer's BIOS or UEFI can boot from an add-in drive. I've read that some HPs with eMMC drives and empty 2.5" drive bays will not boot from add-in drives.

Does that drive have a DRAM cache?

The description says it has Embedded SRAM in place of external DRAM, so I'm gonna say yes, it has a cache, just of faster SRAM.
