Cons: Did not come with a DVI cable.
Has no HDMI input.
Brights are washed out, 224-255 greys are almost indistinguishable compared to one another.
FAR from 160° (V) viewing angle. At less than 30° the display becomes exceptionally dark or bright, and looking at it from any angle other than directly causes noticeable shifts in brightness.
Overall Review: Using this as a rotated display in portrait mode, and any movements seem to darken or lighten the display significantly. I purchased this based on the advertised 160° (V) viewing angle and am sorely disappointed.
Could not solve a Munsell hue test without moving my head.
Pros: These were an easy setup, just what I needed for what I do online during the day and in the evenings working and playing around in online virtual worlds. I didn't use the stands as I wanted these mounted on the wall in front of me and having two of these so far, it makes work much easier and faster having them side by side. The colors are great, the grays and blacks are excellent. I couldn't really ask for much better at the price I got these for.
Cons: No cons here for these. They were exactly as I had expected.
Overall Review: I've seen complaints about no DVI cable but there is no reason to complain since the description clearly states that there is not one included. However, it would be nice and probably better for monitors these days to have a DVI cable included or have a DVI cable instead of a VGA cable since the majority of video cards now have the DVI either instead of a VGA or with a VGA. I realized that there wasn't one included with the monitors when I purchased them so it wasn't an issue since I have more cables laying around than I can even count right now. It's merely a suggestion to include a DVI cable or replace the VGA cable with a DVI cable.
Overall Review: Perfect monitor replacing an old LG 19" flat screen. Installed natively in Windows 8.1. The colors are vibrant...this is a perfect monitor for my family's needs at a great price. And, as always, Newegg packaged flawlessly and it arrived before the estimated arrival date!!
Pros: I am a computer programmer, and I bought two of these to replace two 19" Dell monitors that I have been using for years. I got them on sale, and they are totally worth the price at just a little north of $100 each. Nothing fancy here, just solid reliable quality. I am using the factory settings and they look great. Big improvement.
Cons: Nothing really. I knew there were no bells and whistles on these.
Overall Review: Perfect solution for work. I have no idea how they would do in other environments.
Pros: I got this monitor for a good price because of a deal newegg was having. It works fine and the screen is clear and bright.
Cons: It appears to be cheaply made. I had recently bought another HP monitor that was great and thought this was the same thing. It wasn't. The base is cheap. A DVI cable is not included.
Pros: Very cheap when it was on sale. Bright.
Cons: Did not come with a DVI cable. Has no HDMI input. Brights are washed out, 224-255 greys are almost indistinguishable compared to one another. FAR from 160° (V) viewing angle.
