Overall Review: This travels in the bag with my Macbook Pro to replace a hub and a reader. So far it has worked perfectly with every card I have tried - several brands of CF, MS, SD and xD from 256MB to*GB -with no errors. Highly recommended

Pros: The USB tranfer rate it GREAT! It's so nice being able to browse a flash card with 10mb files in it without delay between each file. The USB ports work great, in which I have an iPod and a flash drive plugged into. This device does everything that it is advertised to do. I am VERY satisfied with what I got and how much I paid for it.

Cons: If I had to be picky, i'd say that I wouldn't mind a longer USB cable. That way it can reach the top of my desk to the computer, which is on the floor.

Overall Review: I am very happy. I've so far used an A-Data 2gb CF card, 2gb SanDisk SD card, a 256mb Sandisk CD card, and a 1gb Micro SD card (with the Micro SD to SD adapter, of course). All work well. Soon I will be trying out a 266x 4gb A-Data CF card - so email me if you want to know how that went.

Comments: Aesthetically, it's very nice. Too bad it has no LED whatsoever. Functionally, CF and SD works as expected. My laptop automatically detects it and adds 4 drive letters for each card slot when I plug the i-rocks in, without installing any additional software. Installing the driver will simply add drive icons which let you recognize which drive is which. CF speed is okay. Reading a 163MB (base 10) file takes 24 seconds, i.e. 55Mbps. USB hub works fine with digital cameras. Unfortunately, it does not work with my other devices such as 2.5" HD or Edirol R-1 MP3 recorder. 2.5" HD needs 5V 1000mA power, but the hub can only supply 500mA max, and that's the problem. My Mp3 recorder is detected as "unknown device"; if directly connected, it works fine.

Pros: construction is solid...It's easy on the eye..and it just plane works...the card reader works for my sd and my sony sticks..

Cons: the placement of all the ports ( usb and card reader ports ) should all be located on the same side....the design should have been rectangle instead of square...just a minor note

Comments: This is a great little device. Not only does it look great, but it also packs a lot of functionality in a tiny space. Windows XP recognized it without a hitch. The four memory slots (Compact Flash, Secure Digital, Smart Media, and Memory Stick) show up as four separate "Removable Media" drives, even when they're empty. Of course, you can map the drive letters to match your personal preference. It's also a USB 2.0 hub, which comes in handy and helps to reduce the clutter on my desk. If you know what's good for you, then you'll add this to your cart right now!

Pros: It's hard to find a good powered USB hub. I was elated to find that this 12-in-1 card reader came with a power cable and had 3 USB ports. Works fast at mounting cards and transfering data.

Cons: If you safely remove the drive instead of ejecting, you'll have to reconnect the hub for it to be recognized.

Overall Review: I would like an activity light on the top just to know when it is accessing.

Pros: So far it works excellent, what really sold it to me was the fact that is has a 3-port usb hub. Being on a powerbook g4 with one broken USB port, this helps out a lot. Performs as described!

Cons: Very Minor- as others have said, USB cords must be slightly angled, but its not a fuss. Also, a little pricey compared to other card readers, but it does come with the 3-port hub, so its not a bad deal.

Overall Review: I ordered it at about 10AM on a Wednesday... 10AM Thursday (Yes, the next morning) my doorbell rings and there it is! Gotta love NewEgg for FAST (Standard UPS Ground) shipping!

Pros: Solid and well made. Good feel. I use this daily for my work.

Cons: You have to tip a USB drive quite a bit to insert it. no big deal.

Overall Review: I liked it enough to buy another.
