Where do I locate the win8 product key?

Its on the computer itself. There are two stickers on the right side panel of the case, upper left corner. One says windows 8 and the other is very colorful and has two barcodes on it. The product key is between the two barcodes and is labeled, "product key".

Question 2

Purchased this and saw it came with OS pre-installed. now it is asking me for Win8 serial number.

should this come? dont see any sticker on the PC as I know it usually comes with other PC/laptops.. now im stuck in the -OS enter serial number screen-

what can I do?

Yes it should be on the right side of PC.
The number is in small writing, so you may need reading glasses.

Does this computer include an sd card reader anywhere on or in it?

There is no SD card reader on it, and definitely wouldn't be 'in' it either.  I'm sure getting a USB SD card reader is rather cheap anyway if you look for it on newegg.  But don't let that little feature stray you away from this PC.  Great for gaming, really quiet and runs everything on max settings without FPS lag/drop.

Anyone know how this will run demanding games like BF4 and others like that?

My son purchased this PC. He's a big gamer. He plays games of all types. He doesn't play BF4, that I know of, but he does play Skyrim and other games that can put a strain on many machines. I know he's played Skyrim using various mods for ultra high def graphics and it looks amazing. He's never complained processing issues. Therefore, I am assuming if one can play Skyrim using such mods then playing BF4 shouldn't be too much of an issue. Take that with some "salt."

Also, he often has a game like Skyrim playing, Steam open for chatting/downloading, and running YouTube for music/videos in the background. He's never complained of latency issues with running multiple software programs at once.

He's used both the HDMI and DVI inputs on the graphics card. He claims the DVI offers a better, cleaner presentation from this graphics card. But that may be his monitor.

The cooling fan is actually pretty good for what appears to be a basic stock option. He hasn't experienced any overheating issues.

All in all, he bought this as a gaming pc... and I think he'd buy it again.

can this desktop run rome total war 2 without loosing detailed work of the game and also dont over heat quick because soon as i play the game on my laptop it starts to overheat?

Rome total war 2, I'm not sure specifically, but it runs very demanding games no problem at all on ultra graphics. I.e. BAttle field 4. Only thing I don't care for on this specific setup is the windows 8 OS. It is not friendly for gamers. I ran MSI afterburner to check system perf while playing and it runs smooth and within all reasonable parameters (55c)

Can this computer Run Arma 3 and DayZ?? I really want a PC that can play those games and be able to stream. Will that be an Issue with this buid? Thanks

I have and play both those games no problems if you use shadowplay to record no problem but you will loose some fps if you use anything else bf4 runs around 47 fps on ultra,dayz you still get low fps but thats the game and arma3 is dependent on the cpu and there your all set.

Yes they are, however the mouse was underwhelming since it broke for me in less than 2 months, though I do a fair amount of gaming.

yes it does allow multiple monitors however i had to download a program to help it run smoother because i went and made it run windows 7 instead of 8.

Can this desktop support dual monitors? I saw 2 dvi ports included, which kind of dvi port are they?

Ports: DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI, DisplayPort

I bought this computer and am running FOUR monitors on it, a great machine. Two things to note however:

1. Three monitors must be identical which are plugged into HDMI/DVI ports

2. You will need an "Active" DisplayPort adapter for the fourth monitor which doesn't have to be identical

I use NVIDIA's Surround software to span all three monitors into one virtual monitor (for racing simulators) and the fourth standalone monitor to launch the sims, etc.

The reviews are amazing and it made very anxious to buy it. However, some reviews mentioned that the CPU or the whole computer can get very hot and I'm not a tech guy so it would be difficult for me to buy and replace the fan. Is there an option to buy the computer but replace the fan? Also some reviews said that it come properly installed? Those two are my biggest issues. Thank you ahead for your responses.

I understand the concern you have, but I have not had an overheating problem with it and I run some very strenuous games on it. It comes with a program that has a temperature gage to monitor performance, which I have used and never was outside of the acceptable range. Easy fixes if you're worried about overheating: open up the side of computer and put a small house fan to blow into it and regularly use canned air to blow out and dust that collects on the inside. A small layer of dust can raise temperatures by 10+ degrees Celcius. I purchased this for a gaming computer and my only big complaint is the windows 8.1 operating system. It just is not a very gamer friendly system, a lot of memory and systems are wasted running tons of apps in the background. Overall though, I love it. Good luck!
