What is the pin pitch of the USB 3.0 header that plugs into the MOBO (2.0mm)?

Don't know how to measure that. FWIW, it's a typical 3.0 molded connector you would use on standard ATX main boards.

Can a Micro-ATX fit in this chassis?

I used a GIGABYTE B550M K Micro-ATX motherboard with this chassis, and it worked pretty well.  I had originally tried the B550 I, but the I/O panel was too large vertically.  I had three total vertical challenges in this build:
* I/O panel as explained above.
* Memory height- I went with "PNY XLR8 Gaming 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz (PC4-28800) CL18 1.35V Low Profile Dual Channel Desktop (DIMM) Memory Kit � MD32GK2D4360018LP" after trying another set where the heatsinks were too tall.
* CPU cooling: I really didn't know what to do with this until I spoke to the server guys at work.  They said to pull the fan off the cpu heatsink and make sure the overall chassis fan flow is sufficient.  Essentially the whole case is your CPU fan.  I did this with the OEM CPU cooler that came with the CPU, and it worked pretty well.  YMMV.  I swapped in some Noctua NF-A4x20 PWM fans and they worked well with no overheating under stress-testing.

Question 3

Where can one get an I/O shield for this? The main board rides unusually low in the chasis to meet the 1U form factor, so typical IO shield wont work.
