What AC power pack adapter should I use?

You don't need a power pack.  It draws its power from the USB connection.  What you see is what you get and all you need.  I've been using mine for several months now and haven't had a single problem.  I usually use at least 6 of the 7 ports available.

How long is the USB cord?

Hi,
The cord is about 2 feet long. The only thing bad about this USB hub is that it is made a bit on the cheap side and one of the switches broke on me the first day. Other than that it is a great item. The reason I bought it was to b able to switch the each port on and off.

Is the USB hub powered, meaning does it come with a power cord to plug into an electrical outlet?

The Black 7 port USB Hub  is powered by plugging it into a USB outlet on your computer not by and electric outlet.  We have 2 of these devices and like them and have recommend  these to friends
