I bought a cheap wireless router and am now having an issue with it really cutting into my internet speed (satellite internet as well, ugh). I basically only need the wireless router to run my printer and occasionally a tablet/ipod when the computer is off. I'd like to split the signal coming off my modem to go to my router and my computer so I will get my speed back up on my computer and still use the wireless printer. Would this work for this application and get my speed back?

There are 4 LAN outputs on the router and you CAN use 2 at one time---acts the same as the splitter---all electronically wired in parallel to each other.
