I put this drive in an external case and attached it to my usb port but the Lenovo Slim 7 couldn't recognize it.  I did this with a 512gb drive and the laptop recognized it and I'm looking for a solution?

I recently bought a 1TB version of this product;Intel 670p Series M.2 2280 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4, NVMe 3D4 QLC Internal Solid State Drive.  Product code: SSDPEKNU010TZX1.    The box label stated "Made in Taiwan with partial foreign content".  Anyone know what are the referred "foreign content"?    Thanks in advance.

Materials/resources from outside the USA presumeably. Intel being a US company probably had to put that on the sticker for one or more reasons.

Is this compatible with the 2015 Macbook Pro (Retina) like the 660P?

I would stick with the 660p since it's working flawlessly with my MacBook and MacOS Big Sur
