Mike - you would need to crack the laptop open in order to determine if the machine had the slot/socket required as this a direct to motherboard type adapter.  Short of actually contacting Lenovo, I can give you a 94% certainty that the answer is no.

I thought i had antenna for this, but i was wrong. What type of antennas should i buy to fit this? Where could i find a couple?

Anyone with Linux experience know if this card has 2 radios on it?  (Meaning, able to use 2.4GHz and 5GHz at the same time.)  What I want to do is make 2 access points (one on each band) with one card.

Card works great under Ubuntu for client purposes, but from what I've been able to dig up has only one radio. Further, if you search for "Intel Wireless 7260 as an access point", you'll find a blog post on why it won't make a good choice for what you're proposing. The TL;DR is: "use an Atheros card..."

Is this only for laptops, or could it plug into my desktop motherboard with an M2 connection?

The card is designed for laptops or desktops with M.2 connectors for WiFi. Its size is 2230 while most M.2 SSDs are 2280. It is also has an A & E connector while most SSDs have B & M connectors. It's possible that the card would be compatible but either may not fit into the M.2 connector (if it's M keyed) or won't be able to be secured because of its length (if it has 2280 screw points).

TL;DR, unless your mobo has the exact M.2 socket (A & E, 2230) then no.

This card uses m.2 interface. From information online, 980 uses a dell 1520, which is not m.2. You can look at 7260.
