Is this card compatible with the Asus X99 Deluxe motherboard?

As long as you have a PCIe 3.0x4 slot, it will work.  I had it working in a 2.0x4 slot.  Iam now using it in an Alienware Area 51 Triad, which has the Intel X99 Chipset.  It's Intel, and X99 is Intel.  I don't foresee any problems.

Question 2

I have a Asus Crosshair V Formula Z with an Asus ROG hard drive , is this hard drive compatible on my motherboard as my ROG is? I need the room for games. My 8 core runs at 4.4 ghz. I figure 800 is not bad for a 1.2 tb hd. Will it work ?

Depends on a few things. As a storage drive it will work I problem. As a boot drive, your bios will have to be compatible with NVME format of booting, and your operating system will have to as well. I run my 750 on an EVGA X99 Classifiedrunning Windows 10, which are all natively compatible with NVME. I'm not too knowledgeable on the AMD side of things, soulful have to look that up.

Can one use 2 of these SSD drive in a Raid 1 config?

No. None of the motherboard chipsets have PCIE RAID support yet. Using software RAID via Windows would not make the drive bootable.

Question 4

The Intel 750 Series SSDPEDMW012T4R5 2.5" 1.2TB PCI-Express 3.0 MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) is 1/2 height size AIC bracket.  Will this product be available in Add-in Card (AIC) Form Factor FUL HEIGHT or with extra change over PCI to full height, Size BRACKET be available?  Is this specification correct?

This item does include both brackets (as stated in the Specifications).  When I received mine, the full height bracket was attached.

Is this the PCIe card or the 2.5 drive?

It is confusing, but I believe it is a 2.5" version mounted on a PCIe 3.0 x 4 card so heat sinks could be added to reduce heat, plus it's using the PCIe interface directly through the motherboard itself.

Question 6

When I look up the Intel 750 1.2 TB PCIe, two model #s come up: SSDPE2MW012T4R5 and SSDPEDMW012T401. They both appear to be PCIe models. What's the difference?

The T401 is the single package and the T4R5 is a 5 pack that newegg splits and sells as singles. Otherwise, they are exactly the same, so buy the cheaper one.

I assume this card is compatible with the Asus X99 Deluxe motherboard? It doesn't show up on the motherboard's compatibility list, but that just means Asus hasn't tested it.

This "just worked" in our Asus X99 Sabertooth with UEFI Bios. It's probably a good bet that will in the Deluxe, but not certain. Crazy good throughput and latency. It's practically a 1TB L4 cache!

Question 8

How does this show up in Windows 8.1? Unformatted?

it's NVMe, but I got Asus Rampage V extreme and x99, with 5960x, so i have the lanes to spare to this SSD.

I'm just wondering how does it show up initially?

It would probable show up as unformatted in any OS.  What I did, was install the card in a Windows 8.1 build, then installed the Intel Driver.  After that, I cloned my Windows 8.1 drive onto the Intel 750 1.2TB drive.  This was on an Alienware Area 51 R2 Triad PC.  It's been working fine ever since.

Does this come with standard-height bracket or half height?

i see it comes with both, but I prefer full height out of the box.

Check the newegg website, all the specifications are there.  If you are wanting to know what I am getting, I don't see a need to do bench marks if the drive is working fine and doing its job.
