i have a intel core 2 quad q6600 cpu and a dell oc27vv (cpu) motherboard will this fit and work in my computer dell optiplex 780 decktop ?

I looked up yoru mb specs...I think this is the wrong cooler....this one works with lga 1155 and 1158 chipsets...your board uses an lga 775...you want one that matches the lga 775
