Is this network card compatible with Windows 10 and backwards compatible with Windows 7?

I got this card for a Windows Server 2008 R2, so it is at least compatible with Windows 7 64 bit.  You would have to check with Intel or Microsoft to find out if it is compatible with Windows 10

Is this a genuine intel card?

It appears so. I have had this card in my homebrew router for nearly 2 years running Linux and no problems. It is listed under devices as an intel card with 4 ports.

Does it come with a half height bracket as well I don't know why every NIC doesn't since like half the systems these days use half height, yes I'm using server adapter in PC which I've done many times in order to create VMware test labs.  VMware does support some non server adapter and trying to find which adapter is difficult support matrix is by system not NIC vendor.  I have 4 half height systems so I need half height brackets for all NICs I use and I can't even find anywhere to sell them.

All I can do is frankenstein a full height and it's a mess and I'm not skilled in that trade.

Any help?

Indeed it does include the half-height bracket.  Out of the box, it has the full-size bracket-- but it's easy to put on the included half-height bracket (2 screws).
