Are there parts included to fit this as a NON low profile card?

It was about a year and a half ago when I purchased and I have purchased many others since, so I don't remember exactly.  I don't think it came with a regular size tab, but Intel makes a full size NIC.

1000 megabits per second (about 125 megabytes per second under optimal conditions) is fairly standard now. This is a wired Ethernet adapter, not wifi.
This particular item is low profile, meaning it won't fit in a ATX standard case.
It's a good network card and it has proven to be very reliable and fast. Make sure you get the full sized version if you're building a standard-sized computer.

Have  a Dell Vostro 270s... want to confirm this will fit in the PCI Express x1-36 pin slot?

Yes, good card.  Older PCI interface though. Make sure your motherboard has this type of connection available.
