This card says its for a server? And the way it plugs in to the computer pci slot looks like its gonna be longer then what it takes to plug in? is it gonna still work? Thanks Larry

It is a pci-x card. That should be the 64bit? Version of the old PCI bus. The PCI is 32bit. As such I have not used the card yet but it was said it will still run on a std 32 as well as the 64, just reduced bandwidth on the bus. Don't know the specs off the top of my head.

Does this card show up in the OS as two interfaces or one?

In Windows 7, OpenBSD, and Linux, it showed up as two two interfaces. By that I mean, one card with two NIC instances.

Haven't tried it on the Mac, so i don't have an answer.
