Self-Healing Network with Increased Reliability and Stability - Intellinet Powered Device Monitor (PDM)
This Power over Ethernet switch is equipped with Powered Device Monitoring (PDM), a self-healing PoE function. The PoE watchdog performs a PD alive check on all connected devices and automatically resets unresponsive devices, such as PoE security cameras, by cutting off and restoring power. The PDM function is particularly beneficial in scenarios where connected devices are critical to network operations, such as in industrial or surveillance settings. This feature also minimizes unnecessary technical support calls and costly field visits, as the functional reboot often brings unresponsive devices back online.

Gigabit Speeds Paired with a Large Power Budget

Featuring eight auto-sensing 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, this managed switch delivers high performance for all network devices. It boasts a power budget of 240 W, distributing up to 30 W per port (per IEEE 802.3at standard). Additionally, two small form-factor pluggable GBIC module slots (SFP) provide fiber connectivity for extended distances.

Advanced Management and Security Features

This PoE switch offers an extensive range of advanced management functions for full network control and protection against ARP attacks. Features include VLAN, port aggregation, QoS, port mirroring, SNMP management, and Remote Monitoring (RMON). Port binding allows a specific MAC address to be linked to a port, granting exclusive network access to that MAC. With 802.1X port-based access control, user authorization is required for network access. The access control list (ACL) enables defining access privileges based on IP or port number.
