iStarUSA BPU-230SATA Two 5.25in. to Three 3.5in. SATA Hot-swap Raid Cage
Create more space for hard drives with hot-swap capability - the BPU-230SATA series supports RAID 1 / 0 / 1+0 / 5 configurations for high performance or redundancy data applications. The iStarUSA BPU-230SATA-BLUE is a hot-swap hard drive cage that fits three 3.5-inch SATA drives into two 5.25-inch bays, suited to server and PC builders who need accessible, removable drive storage.
Recommended For
- Desktop or tower-server builders with two available 5.25-inch bays who want three front-accessible 3.5-inch drive slots for a NAS or local storage pool.
- Home-lab and server users who regularly replace or rotate 3.5-inch SATA drives and want hot-swap access without opening the computer case.
- Small-storage-system builders who need a caged, internally mounted drive solution and can provide the required SATA data and power connections.
- Users building a RAID-capable storage setup who want drive bays for a compatible host or RAID controller; the cage provides the drive access, not a standalone RAID system.
