Does the sata hot swappable bay have a sata connector to connect to the motherboard or do you need to connect the drive dirrectly to the mohterboard?

For the ODD you need a slim to normal adapter. For the SDD/HDD bay, connectors are on the enclosure. So you can connect with a normal SATA cable between the enclosure and the motherboard. This makes the SDD/HDD hot swappable without the need of detaching cables.
