Usually there is no difference in SINGLE drive 6Gbps vs 3Gbps hotswap enclosures because electrically its just a double ended splice connector with only a wiring path only a few mm long with everything plugged in.

However 3G vs 6G can be a world of difference however for multi-drive enclosures with backplanes and other more complex electronic chipsets and longer printed circuit wiring.
