What is Soapnut?
Soapnut/Reetha is a species of tree in the Sapindaceae family, native to India. It's fruit is commonly known as Aritha or Indian soap nuts. Soap nut is the rich source of saponins and has natural cleansing properties.

Due to the high content of Saponins and other phytochemicals, Saopnut has gentle cleansing and moisturizing properties. Soapnut powder is the versatile option for personal and household cleanser. It is also soothing to most sensitive skin and hair type*.

Can I use Soapnut powder for children?
Soapnut powder is gentle,hypoallergenic and safe to use on children. However, it can cause irritation of the eyes upon contact, so use carefully with younger children. It is an excellent detergent for kid's laundry.
What should I Keep in mind while using Soapnut Powder?
- It is for external use only.
- It's foaming action is very mild. You may not notice as much foam as artificial surfactant.
- It can cause irritation of the eyes. If direct contact occur, rinse the eyes immediately with plenty of cold water.
- Use the airtight container to store the powder, avoid moisture contamination
- As with any natural product, always test for the allergy before using it first time.

Hair and Face Cleanser
- Use Soapnut powder with Amla, Aloe Vera, Shikakai, Brahmi or Fenugreek Powder for gentle hair wash and conditioning.
- Mix Soap nut powder, Aloe Vera Powder and water to make lotion like consistency, add few drops of your favorite essential oil and make your own body scrub and facewash.
