Will laptop ram salvaged from dell inspiron 7520se work with this mobo ? or  will i have to buy ram seperately.

The RAM you have should work, provided it is the of the SODIMM DDR3 variety.  Remember,  the board can only accept two stick of RAM.  I personally used parts salvaged from a I7 2nd gen laptop to make this motherboard work for me as a acceptable desktop.  I hope that you are able to do the same.   Remember to download drivers for installation, as the mobo does not come with a DVD with drivers.

Question 2

I have an asus g75vw laptop and it recently died because of a dead motherboard. I was planning to use its i7-3610qm on this and as  many parts as i could. Can I use my SATA II hard drive on this? I was also wondering if I then would need to buy a new operating system or not. I would assume i would. The last question is how big of a gpu can you use on this motherboard without having any problems? Would a gtx 960 fit on this? I appreciate anyone taking the time to read this, Thanks

SATA II hard drives will work.  I had salvaged an Clevo P170hm and used the ram, processor and HD for use with this motherboard.

As far as the OS is concerned, unless you own a FULL  copy of the OS, you should consider a new legal copy to save yourself activation issues.  Or expect to spend some time on the telephone activating (or trying to activate) the old copy.  Zombie OS is no fun.  Clean install is recommended.

As far as the graphics is concerned, you are limited only by the case you install it into.  I installed an older AMD graphics card,  but I powered it properly with the correct power supply headers.  Be aware, the overclock options are limited, but the board works well with i7-2XXX and i7-3XXX processors reasonably well.  My old card is a 2 bay FULL LENGTH card and it works fine.

The motherboard should come with a CPU heatsink rated for up to 45W.  The 3610 is rated at 45W, so you should be good to go.

If you are asking that this motherboard fit inside your laptop, then the answer is no. This is a desktop motherboard that has a socket for a laptop processor. I hope this answers your question.

did someone know if this board support a i7 2670qm cpu? is the same socket it just that it is not in the support list in their website.

It looks like it will not- even though the socket is the same, the chipset on this motherboard does not support that processor. You will need a socket g2 board with the hm65 chipset for the processor.

It may be within the footprint of the laptop, but unless you're a pro at modding hardware, there's no chance it will work. Laptop motherboards are extremely model specific.

The motherboard will fit any ITX standard case.  However, the size of the case that you will need is mostly dependent on how much video, hard drive, and power supply you want.

Is the heatsink that comes with this good? I Am also wondering how well you can over clock your CPU with this mother board. I am going to be using a i7 3610qm with this. Thanks for the help

Not that great but I would say 'good enough' for 35W TDP CPUs.  Unfortunately, there is not much choice of aftermarket CPU cooler for Socket G1/G2/G3 (PGA988).  Only compatible one I could find was Dynatron's I2, which at least has copper contacting plate but performance-wise (temp/noise ratio) it's about same.

There is no Socket G2-based CPU capable to overclock (not even i7 39x0XM Extreme series & so as your 36x0QM).  Therefore, the motherboard does not have option for it.

resolution is depending on video card not mobo   but this mobo is one of latest so should be able to support up to 790 gtx or so.

It is Intel HD.  There are four monitor connectors:  VGA, DVI, HDMI and DP.  But you can only use three at a time.
