How thick acrylic can this cutter handle?
Best for 1–3mm: score 5–8 times, snap clean. 4mm works but takes effort: score 10+ times both sides. 5mm+: not recommended – use a jigsaw. We'd rather lose a sale than see you ruin an expensive sheet.
What's the difference from a regular box cutter?
A box cutter's straight blade only scratches acrylic. Our hooked blade plows a V-groove. 8–10 passes, then snap – clean break, no cracked sheet. Designed specifically for hard plastics. Completely different results.
Blade doesn't retract. Will it cut my hand?
Yes, very sharp – does NOT retract. Never toss loose in toolbox. Store in included case or wrap blade with tape. For workshop use only, not pocket carry.
How many blades included? Where to buy refills?
23 blades total: 3 in handle compartment + 2 refill packs of 10 each. Search "hook blade refills" – standard size. With 23 blades, you're set for dozens of projects.
Can I cut curves or circles with this tool?
No. This is a score-and-snap tool for straight cuts only. Will not work for tight curves like a 24" circle. For curves, use a jigsaw. Honest advice: straight cuts ? use this; curves ? use a saw.
