Nobody has ever explained what Key Card means? Anyone?

The Key Card is essentially the code provided by the antivirus software company to be able to activate the software. When purchasing the software online, you can either download directly from the web site or a box with the software (or without it) can be sent to you with the key card to download and activate the software. It's just the code.

Question 2

I understand that the 3 codes are good for one year but when does that one year start?  At time on installation?  Can I buy a one now and not use it until next year?

Quoting from the front of the Quick Start Guide -- "The license period starts when you activate the product on the first device. The activation code is valid until the end of 2019."

Question 3

does key card expire. because currently i have an active subscription of kaspersky already. Or can i add this on top of my current subscription?

Accepted Answer

The subscription doesn't begin until you activate the key on the first computer. You'll be able to store the key for as long as you want before using and still get the full 1 year. If you have Kaspersky Internet Security now, you can even add the key to your software, and it will automatically activate it when your first subscription ends.

will it work for windows and mac laptops?

The lower lefthand corner of the front cover shows symbols for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.  The back cover under the picture of Eugene Kaspersky says, "Our ultimate protection for PC, Mac, and mobile."
