With the Kaweco Sport something special was created in 1911. A pocket fountain pen that was only 10.5 cm tall when closed and could therefore be easily carried with you, but reached a normal size of 13 cm with the cap attached. At that time, it was advertised for women, men in evening wear and sportsmen.
One of the most famous users was Sepp Herberger. The then coach of the German national football team brought his victorious tactics that led to the world championship title in 1954 with a Kaweco Sport on paper.
The coarse brass is complemented by fine, silver elements such as the logo cap. We recommend one of our clips for the sports model or our leather sports cases for one or two pens.
Kaweco Brass Sport Series
Kaweco Brass Sport in detail:
- Fountain pen available in nib sizes EF = extra fine; F = fine; M = medium; B = wide; BB = extra wide
- Retractable ballpoint pen with high-quality heart curve mechanism
- Mechanical Pencil: 0.7 mm, hardness HB
- As standard, the rollerball pen contains a black, 0.7 mm thick G2 rollerball refill
- Optionally, a slide clip is also available for Kaweco Sport (not included)
Kaweco Brass Sport Series:
When closed, the pocket fountain pen and the rollerball measures only 10.5 cm. When the cap is plugged in, they grow to a normal size of 13 cm.
In addition, the series offers a ballpoint pen in 10.5 cm length with high-quality heart curve mechanism that works particularly precisely.
The mechanical pencil with a line width of 0.7 mm is perfect for sketching and drawing.
Kaweco ink is available in: Midnight Blue, Royal Blue, Paradise Blue, Caramel Brown, Glowing Yellow, Smoke Grey, Palm Green, Sun Orange, Summer Purple, Ruby Red, Pearl Black.

The heavy sports model
Due to the heavy weight of the model, the writing instrument presses easily on the paper by itself. So it is possible for you to write particularly long and comfortably.
Kaweco Brass Sport - The Individualist
The brass of the Kaweco Brass Sport develops a natural and unique patina over time. The user-related application creates a change in the surface, which can be attributed to chemical and corrosive influences. In this way, every Kaweco Brass Sport becomes unique in the course of use.

Kaweco writing instruments have been designed with sophistication and great attention to detail since 1883. They have always been manufactured in outstanding quality. Today, it can be found both in high quality standards, excellent workmanship, as well as in the individual inspection of each product.
The production takes place by hand and individual inspection in the pencil city of Nuremberg. We source high-quality materials from all over the world - such as the mechanics from Japan from PRECO/Iwasaki. In addition to high-quality individual parts, we also work with the smallest possible tolerances for a long writing happiness. In the end, each pen is personally customisable.
