Is the Vue pack different than a K-cup?

Yes, completely. It does not come with "K" cups but with its own cups, which are not interchangeable. There are adaptors on the market, but they tend to make this version break.  Keurig replaced my machine after 200 brews because its pump failed using the "K" cup adaptor.  Keurig says not to use the adaptors.  The Vue cups are not as readily available in stores, but you can order them on-line at a competitive price.

No, it does not come with a cup to brew your own coffee. But, those are readily available at stores like Bed, Bath & Beyond. The VUE cup is different from a K-cup, but, there are devices that allow you to use a K-cup in this brewer as well.

No,they are not the same thing. Vue cups hold a bit more coffee so they  can make larger, stronger servings. There is a video on youtube showing how to use k-cups in a Vue system but the reverse is not an option.

Can the KCup coffee be used in the VUE?

Yes if you get the Solofill K-cup converter. I highly recommend it.
