Pros: Great, reliable memory. ECC is a must for reliable business machines. This works beautifully on my Asus M4A785TD-V EVO motherboard with AMD Athlon II X4 635 processor and Windows 7 Pro.

Overall Review: I use ECC memory in all my computers, and have taken to building my own because I just can't get what I want from the majors, i.e., quality components, clean install without bloatware, and reliability. NewEgg is my one-stop shop for my components.

Pros: Works perfectly with 3400-series Lynnfield Xeon platforms.

Overall Review: I purchased 2 packages of this (8GB total) for a server running a Xeon X3450 on a Supermicro X8SIL-F motherboard. Works perfectly, no compatibility problems.

Pros: Price. I know that some people will see the price as a con but when dealing with ECC memory, you are GOING to pay more. Currently the 2 GB ECC unbuffered modules are the best value. Kingston makes a great value memory module. 3 of my media servers run different speeds and varieties of Kingston value ram. This works in quad channel mode in my G34 Socket board (Supermicro MBD-H8SGL-F-O (newegg item #N82E16813182230))

Cons: None really. I wish 4 GB modules were cheaper but right now they are entirely too expensive.

Overall Review: The main reason i went with the G34 socket was the quad channel ram, which indirectly led to having 8 memory modules on a single socket board. For OpenSolaris (and ZFS ) The more memory, the better. Currently, 4 GB unbuffered ECC memory costs 400+ per module....this is just entirely too cost restrictive.

Pros: It is memory and it works.

Overall Review: Replaced the ram that came in my Dell R710 with this ram and it works like a champ. Ran memtest86 over night and all checked out. I've got 12Gb sitting in my server and am now ready to load up VMs on it. Considering that other companies were charging far more for pretty much the same performance (DELL obviously overcharging the most), this ram is an amazing deal.

Pros: I've been buying Kingston memory for years, and am never disappointed in their quality and stability.

Cons: No complaints here!
