Can this be booted from, e.g. via an IDE adapter?

I dont know if a CF card can serve a a "boot disk"
I was using IDE adaptors on two Win98 machines with the CF cards
to overcome my lack of the USB  1 memory sticks required by the WIN98 OS.  Why WIN 98?.  because I was running DOS programs in conjuntion with Windows programs.
THis set-up has been abandoned, otherwise I'd try to see if the CF cards could serve as boot disks.

It would be best to contact  the tech department.  Each model is different on the cards they use, and I am not sure which is the right one
