how do i connect it to my device hp slate 7. i recieved it as a bonus when i bought the tablet but there is no suitable slot for it/.  how do I use it ?

you should be able to use the tiny card in the slot on the top of the  tablet if it came with one pre-installed you would have to remove it. I do not know the slate 7 well enough but it does have a micro sd slot on it look in the users guide or do a Google search to find where it is on yours

i just bought a MP3 player that requires a TF memory card is this what i need?

Internet says they are identical (TF being Transflash). I had never heard of that but several sites agree.
