Agreed with "a shopper" how do I know what this can do when there is no wattage or amperage rating?

Sorry Kingwin or newegg, whoever is responsible for listing specs, but you're losing sales because of your lack of detailed information about your products.

Not buying until I know what it can do.

Im not sure about amperage or watting. As far as what this can do, it controls your case fans. Its connectors are 2 pin but it will control fans with three pin connectors just fine. As far as what else it can do, there is nothing else. Its merely a solution for those who have cases and no fan controller built in.

Can you disable the LEDs? Maybe cut a wire that goes only to the lights?

I am sure you can, but that would void your warranty; bear in mind that I am on my second(warranty exchange). The first one lasted 2 or 3 months; my current one has worked perfectly(best low cost one I've owned) for over a year and a half so its your call.

Does this fit the front panel of corsair carbide spec 01?

Im not sure if it fits that exact case, but it is a 3.5" fit so if you have a hard drive there you can slide that in the bay and see if it fits and if the hard drives fits then this will also,. Im sorry im not much more help
