Does this product supply power to a 2.5" eide drive?

Don't really know. The kit comes with its own power supply. It has connections for both IDE & Sata drives. I used it to back up some data on my hard drive from a "95"system when the motherboard gave up. The items works great for vista and window 7.

Does this support 5.25 ODD?

Yes. This adapter will apparently work on any pata/sata device. Every hard disk or optical disc drive I have tried it with worked as well as the bona fide interface did (1TB sata hdd, various pata hdd, various pata CDROM, CD-RW, DVD/+-RW/RAM). Only tried on XP SP2 and Vista, both 32bit, but it was literally plug and play, and the devices seem to use native drivers; hard drives pass through SMART, and ODDs will burn discs the same as internal. Throughput is limited to about 25 or 30 MB per second, fast enough to watch DVDs easily, but medium-slow for large hdd access. Some of my 5.25s had little or no space between the data and power plugs, but I could get them all to fit. I use my USI-2535 quite a bit, and it has yet to fail me; it seems to be a good quality product.

Is USB cable included?

Yes the mini-USB connector is included, it connects to the main unit so that you don't need individual cables to connect to different types of hard drives.

Connecting simply and easilyThe EZ-Connect adapter has a three-in-one drive connector with a 3.5” IDE connector on one side and a 2.5” IDE connector on the other side for attaching IDE drives, and a SATA connector in front to attach the SATA data cable and the 2.5”/3.5” SATA drive. External AC/DC power adapter and SATA power connector are included to supply power to the hard drive.
