The tiny kingdom of Arls, located on the northeastern border of the Arland Republic, is where spunky Princess Meruru calls home. Ever since she was exposed to alchemy by famed adventurer Totori Helmold, all she can think about was becoming an alchemist. With Totori's guidance, Meruru sets out to develop her home kingdom of Arls using the power of alchemy. On her way, Meruru will encounter new adventures, obstacles, mysteries, and friends, and discover what life is like outside the castle walls. How you choose to guide her through the advancement of her land will determine the final outcome in the tale of Atelier Meruru. With new and updated game systems and returning characters from Atelier Rorona and Atelier Totori, Atelier Meruru will once again capture the hearts and minds of all the Atelier fans out there.
Game FlowMeruru is the princess of a small kingdom, and the goal of the game is to develop and advance her blossoming nation. Engaging in alchemy, searches, battles and conversation are all important elements of reaching your goal.
The FieldThe field system in Atelier Meruru was designed to give you a light, airy feeling. And to add even more joy, some terrain will transform as you develop the land and advance the game.
DevelopmentMeruru will use items she synthesizes to help develop the kingdom. Doing so will cause new land to appear or existing land to transform. Continuing to develop will greatly evolve this component of the game.
AlchemyA number of systems have been explored throughout the Atelier series. This time, the game's core system is based around development. Develop Arls Kingdom as you see fit and help the heroine, Princess Meruru, make her homeland just as successful as the Arland Republic.

Advanced Items: Under certain conditions, Meruru can attack with reinforced attack items after an ally executes a Support Attack. Assists: If Meruru finds herself targeted by an enemy, an ally can jump in and protect her with an Assist Guard. Skills and Special Moves: Each character has his or her own unique set of skills and super powerful attacks.
