Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.

    Kumho Spare T121 (HN)

    FEATURES AND BENEFITS

    • Spare tire
    • Temporary mobility
    • Smaller physical shape

    OVERVIEW

The Kumho Spare T121 (HN) is a spare all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. It is the original equipment tire of select Hyundai vehicle models.

These tires were developed to be used only temporarily. In case of an accident, blowout, road hazard or any other damage to the original tire, this spare model can be mounted on the vehicle. It offers limited mobility to the vehicle, up to the speed of 50 mph. They are not designed to be used for longer periods of time.

The model has a smaller physical size and shape than the original tires on the vehicle. They also feature shallow tread that is less effective against the weather conditions. To properly function the tire needs 60 psi cold tire inflation. In this manner, it is capable of withstanding the weight of the vehicle.

The Spare T121 (HN) was designed to be smaller than regular spare tires. This lowers the overall weight of the vehicle and enhances the trunk spare.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
