I don't use it that way, but it is a standard USB 3.0 interface. It functions just like an external hard drive. I use mine as an alternative boot drive. It should work with any PC that has a USB 3.0 interface. I haven't tried it on earlier USB versions. So, you might want to make sure your Windows PC has a USB 3.0 interface.
