Can you put 2 of these fans side-by-side in the window?

These fans are big. The specs on the newegg site aren't clear at all. The fan is BIG; it is 26.5 inches wide and 22 inches high. It is about 6 or 7 inches thick (the inner square-ish section that houses the fan that you see in the photo sticks out a couple of inches from the frame and the knob to adjust the speed and direction sticks out even further).

So, to put more than one in a window is questionable due to the size. And, something has to hold the fan in place since it is quite powerful. If the fan fits inside your window frame and you can shut the window on top of the fan to hold it in place that would probably work. The fan also has the benefit of two notches on each side so that you can attach it outside of a window frame by adding screws to your window and then slide the fan onto the screws.
