Is it compatible with all PS5 models? Will it block any rear ports?
Designed for orig. PS5 Disc/Digital (2020). Incompatible w/ Slim/Pro. Aligns w/ rear vents; does not block USB, HDMI, LAN, or power ports. Verify console version before purchase.
Does it help improve heat dissipation?
The upgraded larger fan design enhances rear exhaust airflow to improve heat circulation around the console, helping heat dissipate more effectively during extended gaming sessions. Improved airflow can contribute to more stable performance.
Is it noisy while gaming?
The fan is engineered for efficient airflow with reduced operating noise. During typical gameplay, it stays relatively quiet and unobtrusive, even through extended sessions.
Why does the fan run at first and then stop?
On power-on, fan enters Auto Mode, runs low speed 2–3 min for temp calibration. After detection: <39°C—standby; 39–43°C—low (3500 RPM); >43°C—high (5000 RPM). Fan may stop if console temp low. Normal behavior.
Does it have adjustable fan speeds?
"Yes. The fan features three modes controlled by a switch:
• OFF – Fan off
• Constant Mode (I) – Steady speed for continuous cooling
• Auto Mode (II) – Automatically adjusts speed based on console temperature"
