Ultrasonic Coolmist Humidifier

The Lasko UH200 is a filter-free ultrasonic cool-mist humidifier with a 0.74-gallon tank, designed for rooms up to 300 square feet. It suits bedrooms, nurseries, offices, and living spaces, with up to 60 hours of operation on low.

Recommended For

• People adding moisture to a bedroom or home office up to about 300 sq. ft.; Lasko lists that coverage, and Consumer Reports tested the UH200 as a medium-room model.
• Light sleepers who want a cool-mist humidifier for overnight use; the ultrasonic design is positioned as quiet, and the tank is rated for up to 60 hours on low.
• People who want fewer refills during low-setting use; its removable 95-ounce tank is rated for up to 60 hours on low, though actual runtime depends on the setting and conditions.
• Bedroom users who want a nightlight or a scent-tray option alongside humidification; the UH200 includes both, with essential oils used in the tray rather than the water tank.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• When dry indoor air makes a bedroom uncomfortable, run the UH200 to add cool mist to the room; Lasko positions it for dry-air comfort, and Consumer Reports lists it for medium-sized rooms.
• For overnight bedroom use, its quiet-operation positioning and nightlight can suit someone who wants a humidifier running while they sleep; the tank is advertised to run up to 60 hours on low, though actual runtime depends on the setting.
• In a home office or living room, use it to add moisture to one medium-sized space; its adjustable mist direction helps aim output where it is needed, rather than humidifying an entire home.
• During a dry season, run it in a frequently used room to ease the feel of dry air; it adds moisture, but it does not monitor or automatically maintain a target humidity level.
• For a bedtime room routine, add a compatible essential oil to the built-in scent tray while the humidifier runs; the tray is intended for fragrance, separate from the water tank.
